Activewear brands and designers find inspiration in everything from movies and the produce aisle to other brands. But it's still pretty cool to think that Venus Williams was inspired by another badass woman, the feminist icon and artist Frida Kahlo, for her latest EleVen by Venus Williams designs.

"Despite the challenges she faced throughout her life, she never gave up on her goals and desire to pursue greatness."

#Bossbabe Kahlo inspired the the collection, called Floral Brocade, with her use of florals, beautiful pops of color, and self-portraits that innovated the art world, Williams said in a press release. "Despite the challenges she faced throughout her life, she never gave up on her goals and desire to pursue greatness."

Beyond the aesthetic appeal of Kahlo's work, the tennis pro said the Mexican painter also "represents beauty, perseverance, and success"—although, TBH, you could say the same about Williams, too.

Since world-ranked athlete competes—and dominates—while wearing her own designs, you can swear on Miranda Kerr's love of crystals that Floral Brocade pieces are functional AF.

The 27-piece collection includes tennis focused options like tank, a dress, skirts, and a visor, as well as a couple of options for the leggings-obsessed—i.e., literally all of us, since workleisure seems to be skewing more toward hygge by the quarter.

Here's how Venus Williams works out every week and what she does for wellness.
