How to make your beauty bag look like Alicia Silverstone’s

The Clueless star turned eco-living expert just helped create a line of organic products for Juice Beauty. We auditioned it for a role in our skin-care regimen.

For The Kind Life, Alicia Silverstone’s online community, the actor shares her take on how to live a healthier life (for you, the planet, and all the little critters)—with advice on vegan eating to tips on greening your home.

Now, the Clueless star (whose natural good looks helped rocket her to fame after her iconic Aerosmith video role) is sharing her idea of the perfect beauty regimen with a collection of five products she helped develop for mass natural line, Juice Beauty.

The Alicia Silverstone for Juice Beauty collection launched on Earth Day this year (April 22) and like the brand’s other lines, the products are formulated with nearly all-organic, plant-based ingredients.

“The products are made with love, and I’m thrilled to help women everywhere discover that looking beautiful and feeling glamorous is easier when you use cosmetics that are kind to your skin and safe for the world around us,” says Silverstone.

The line includes a cleanser and moisturizer, plus a pressed power, facial highlighter, and lipstick.

We loved the Simply Nourishing Moisturizer ($36). The aloe juice base feels ultra-hydrating and chamomile essential oils add a calming effect.

The Simply Flawless Pressed Powder ($24) was also a fave—it acts like a loose mineral powder, leaving a nearly-sheer matte finish, but you can throw it in your bag without toting a brush.

The Simply Clear Chamomile Cleanser ($22), though, is a little too vegetable-glycerin viscous for our taste, and the Irresistible Glow Facial highlighter ($22) is actually more like a blush—it goes on like a Revolution Organics color stick, not an RMS Luminizer.

And unfortunately (but unsurprisingly), we did not transform into Alicia look-alikes after sampling the line. —Lisa Elaine Held
