Mary Helen Bowers brings Ballet Beautiful to the Upper East Side

Screen Shot 2015-12-21 at 2.19.36 PMIf you’re a fan of the Ballet Beautiful studio in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood but you live uptown, schlepping or streaming classes have been your two options.

Now celebrity trainer-ballerina founder Mary Helen Bowers has opened a new studio on East 75th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues on the Upper East Side.

Currently, the space is in soft launch mode with private and semi-private classes on request, and in early 2016 the studio will start to offer exclusive group classes for five to six people. There’s also a small boutique with curated items from Bower’s recently launched activewear collection.

And, of course, there’s always the chance that you’ll catch a glimpse of a Victoria’s Secret angel (ahem, Miranda Kerr) when you’re there. —Jamie McKillop
