Morrow Soft Goods’ New Sleep Set Is Pretty Enough To Wear Into the World—And I’ll Be Living In It All Summer

As a recent convert to the world of quote-unquote fancy pajamas—that is, anything that isn’t an old T-shirt—few things get me more jazzed than a matching sleep set. Even better? When the set is never-take-it-off comfortable, which I knew was bound to be the case when Los Angeles-based bedding and textiles brand Morrow Soft Goods forayed into sleepwear earlier this year. Last week, the company one-upped itself by expanding its wearable offerings with a new style, the Fia Tank, and a whole new set of colors ideal for mixing or matching into a dreamy sleep set that’s chic enough to wear outside.

Yep, you read that correctly: The new Morrow Soft Goods sleep sets are just as easy on the eyes as they are on the body, encapsulating a collection of flowy-yet-stylish silhouettes in nature-inspired tones. The tops and bottoms come in the same range of earthy hues and patterns, so you can pair any garment with its matching-set counterpart or mix them up for variation.

The material of this dreamy set is lightweight and ultra-comfortable, and that tracks considering the brand is literally called Morrow Soft Goods, and it has roots in the bedding and linens world. (This brand knows a thing or two about good sleep, after all.) In alignment with the brand’s signature Heirloom Linen Bedding (from $75), the gingham sleep set is also made with 100-percent French and Belgian flax linen that’s pre-washed for extra softness. (By contrast, the solid options are made with a breathable blend of 50-percent flax linen and 50-percent rayon from bamboo.) All of the fabric is also sustainably sourced, in line with the Oeko-Tex certification.

It does bear mentioning that the fit of this Morrow Soft Goods sleep set is relaxed and oversized, so you’d be wise to order a size down from your usual if you’re planning not only on drifting off to sleep while wearing it, but also drifting breezily to brunch or an afternoon park hangout.

And the design does lend itself to wearing out into the world: The Fia Tank features spaghetti straps that adjust with slip knots, an elastic band with ruching across the top, and a wide, cropped silhouette that won’t stick to you, no matter how sweaty you get. (There’s a subtle slit in the back for extra airflow that ties shut with more spaghetti straps.) The Esme Shorts sport faux buttons down the front with an elastic waistband that stretches with you. An added bonus: Both pieces can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle and tumble-dried on low.

Beyond the Honey Gingham, the Fia Tank comes in soft-washed Sage and Azul, as does the Esme Short, which also comes in Cream Gingham, Camel, and Apricot. So, you can consider your summer neutrals handled, from the streets to the sheets.
