Locker Room Look Book is Well+Good’s new video series where we share (and you’ll score) post-workout beauty and style tips from white-hot wellness stars.

Some work weeks your iCal is so jam-packed with meetings that you barely have time to squeeze in a power walk (or make yourself respectable post-sweat). So what’s the secret to going from activewear to workwear in no time flat?

Meld them together. As an entrepreneur and creative director for fashion company Fanm Djanm, Paola Mathé feels the working girl hustle—which is why she’s managed to make activewear a seamless part of her street-to-office look.

Her first tip? Use exercise as an opportunity for creative thought. Most mornings, Mathé takes a long, brisk walk from her apartment to her office to get her heart rate up—and to draw inspiration from her surroundings, so she’s in prime thinking mode when she gets to her desk.

For Mathé, stocking a gym bag is all about personal style—and that includes throwing on one of her signature headwraps. The staples she loads up on are Under Armour second-skin leggings, comfortable yet supportive sports bras, sweatshirts for transitioning to post-workout activities, and, of course, a Fanm Djanm headwrap to tie her whole look together.
