It feels like an eternity since Puma announced Rihanna as its latest creative director. (Seriously, it was at the end of 2014.)
But, finally, the time has come for the full Fenty x Puma by Rihanna apparel collection to hit stores. And thanks to Bustle, we know it’s good—just in case the always-sold-out and highly coveted Puma Creepers and Fur Slides weren’t enough confirmation of Rihanna’s designing prowess.
Similar to her many looks at the VMAs this past weekend, Rihanna’s first-ever apparel collection is filled with seriously cool athleisure picks, such as track pants, kimonos, and crop tops—all with a fashionable upgrade.
But in true Rihanna fashion, the collection isn’t your average celeb activewear collaboration. Some of the pieces—which are all some combination of black, white, and gray—are straightforward athleisure faves like tanks and sweatshirts (with cool detailing like lace-ups and cut-outs). But the collection also features some never-before-seen things from the sporty brand: think floor-length kimonos, bandana baseball hats, and drawstring t-shirts.
Since anything Rihanna touches tends to sell out within hours, chances are this collection will be no different (AKA having a game plan is ideal).
Luckily, there are a few different options. The Puma PR team says the Fenty Collection will launch exclusively on September 6 at Bergdorf Goodman, however, two Fenty Puma by Rihanna pop-up shops, powered by SIX:02, will open the same day in New York City and Los Angeles.
Outside of NYC and LA, the Fenty x Puma collection will be available at Puma stores and online the next day, September 7.
