This morning, while you were busy whisking matcha, Rihanna dropped a new iteration of her cult-status creeper sneaker—only this time, it’s gotten a summer makeover.

Dubbed the Bow Creeper Sandal ($180), the latest envelope-pushing athleisure design from the star features Fenty’s trademark platform sole—but with a major twist: a cut-out mid-sole, a dainty bow near the toe, and thick laces that wrap around your ankle like pointe shoes.

Think bad-ass ballerina—enhanced by the launch’s neutral color palette. (Right now it comes in three shades.)

RiRi clearly has major athleisure instincts (as anyone who wanted to order a pair of her Fenty creepers, only to learn they almost instantly sold out, knows). Plus, her latest version taps into two sneaker trends that are buzzing right now: beige and lace-up styles. But is the world ready for sneakers to get the sandal treatment?

Only time—and waiting lists—will tell.

For other star fashion inspo, these are the leggings that celebrities are loving right now. And fun fact: Hollywood it-girls are obsessed with putting crystal-infused oils on their face.
