It’s Been a Schitty Year, but May We Suggest Rose Apothecary Products To Make Things Better

If 2020 has made you mutter “Ew” to yourself as much as Alexis Rose does in reference to David on Schitt’s Creek then, brace yourself because we have the very best news to lift your spirits. The moment we’ve all been waiting for is among us: Beloved goat milk soap and body care company Beekman 1802 finally announced the drop date for its second collab with Schitt’s Creek.

ICYMI: The New York-based beauty brand released a collaboration with the award-winning show in celebration of its sixth and final season back in January 2020. As major fans of the show, Beekman 1802 founders, Brent and Josh, capitalized on just how similar their stories were. Like the Roses, they left big-time city life to embark on a quainter future in upstate New York. What’s more, they opened a mercantile there which, like Rose Apothecary—David and his boyfriend/business partner, Patrick’s general store—sells locally-made items, including goat-milk soaps and gourmet cheese. In other words, the collab was a no-brainer for the brand.

The initial launch, which was designed to look like items from Rose Apothecary, included Rose Apothecary lip balm, bar soap, and votive candles. Naturally, given the popularity of the show and downright adoration of David and Patrick, items within the collection quickly sold out, leaving fans of the collab wondering when the next drop would be. So much so, in fact, that over 45,000 people signed up for the waitlist to be the first to know about the release.

Well folks, the day is finally here! On Friday, November 20, shoppers will be able to shop the handcrafted, goat milk-enriched items found within the first drop, along with a few newbies that will make you feel like the luckiest bébé in all of the land. Check out the full offering, below!
