For those on the (eternal) quest for trendy workout clothes that also deliver in the performance department, British activewear empire Sweaty Betty delivers in spades (or, okay, in its signature quadrant of polka dots). The powerhouse brand, founded by Tamara Hill-Norton in 1998, consistently rolls out fit-girl essentials like supportive sports bras and butt-sculpting leggings in whimsical prints that add a dose of playful chicness to your sweaty endeavors. And soon the brand will be more accessible than ever: Today it announced that its spring/summer 2018 collection will be available on Nordstrom's website and at 25 istore locations.

Come April (in alignment with Sweaty Betty's 20th anniversary), workout warriors near one of the 25 yet-to-be-named Nordstrom stores stocking the line can shop this bold-printed brand IRL.

Currently, Sweaty Betty has boutiques throughout the United Kingdom as well as in New York, California, Colorado, New Jersey, and Connecticut. But come April (in alignment with the brand's 20th anniversary), stylish workout warriors near one of the yet-to-be-named Nordstrom stores stocking the line can shop the cool-girl clothes IRL too. “When I founded Sweaty Betty in 1998, it was always my dream to bring the brand to the US, so it’s really exciting to partner with Nordstrom in our 20th year," said Hill-Norton, who now acts as the company's creative director, in a press release.

From April until June, the brand will release its spring/summer 2018 collection of more than 100 items at the chosen Nordstrom stores. And, hold on to your yoga mat, because each month, Sweaty Betty will also unveil a limited-edition item from its archive, starting with the iconic "bum-sculpting" leggings in Union Jack print (circa 2012).

So clear out some space in your leggings drawer, because the fashion forecast includes an activewear overhaul.

On the market for a new pair of leggings? Keep an eye out for this style that can actually make your legs look longer or a weighted pair that you can rock for shorter, more effective workouts.
