The minute things start heating up weather wise, psychologically I become the summer version of myself—the version that lives in a realm of pure comfort and relaxation. Unfortunately summer dressing is a beast that often requires chub rub-resistant hacks, MacGyver bras, and a slew of other things to get past the heat and humidity combo all of which is only amped up when you’re trying to get dressed for a formal occasion.

Come the season of outdoor weddings the solution to your wardrobe woes is a jumpsuit (or maybe five). The all-in-one style has the upper hand over traditional wedding guest outfits—it’s pretty versatile, easy to move in, and basically feels like you’re wearing swanky pajamas as opposed to formal attire (AKA the dream). You’ll look fancy AF without having to squeeze into shape wear or stress about flashing the crowd when you hit the dance floor.

You’ll look fancy AF without having to squeeze into shape wear or stress about flashing the crowd when you hit the dance floor.

While these styles will definitely work for the wedding you’re attending with a pair of carefully picked comfortable heels and some statement jewelry, you could probably get away with wearing them to work if you swap in some sneakers. For those who rarely venture out of the world of greyscale, there are some summery and shimmery options. As for the more color-embracing crowd—there are soft, yet structured, linens (read: breezy and light) in more tailored cuts, as well as dress-like flowy pieces in satin materials. Either way, you’ll definitely find something to get you through the season without a stitch. Solve your wedding season woes with the jumpsuits below.

If you’re part of the bridal party, here’s how to keep a cool head during the planning portion and the wellness items to nab from the registry.
