Yogasmoga opens a summer pop-up store in lower Manhattan

YogasmogaSummer yoga pant shopping on the waterfront, anyone?

Growing New York city-based fitness fashion brand Yogasmoga just opened a pop-up shop inside curated retail space Seaport Studios in lower Manhattan—its first brick-and-mortar spot in its hometown.

The brand, which launched in 2013, has store locations in Beverly Hills and Brentwood in Los Angeles and in Greenwich, Connecticut, and plans to open four more in Southern California by the end of the year, with 10–12 total locations by 2016.

Open through September 10, the Seaport pop-up will feature just eight pieces, plus on-going workouts like Acroyoga and “Vino and Vinyasa” classes. Store hours are Monday–Saturday from 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon–7:00 p.m.

And while it’s a tiny shop for a city of 8.5 million people, we have a feeling something bigger will be coming to the Big Apple soon. —Jamie McKillop
