The Simple Yoga Moves Britney Spears Uses to Combat Travel Exhaustion

When you're traveling a lot, it can take a toll on you. Not only is it detrimental for your skin (that dryness!) and sleep (the jet lag!), but sitting in a tiny airplane seat can really cramp up your body and make you feel, well, tight all over. That's not something that jet-setting celebrities get a VIP pass from dealing with, either—they feel it, too.

Take Britney Spears, for example, who travels across the world for musical tours and vacations with her family. On a recent Instagram post, the pop star reveals that the staying in a foreign hotel and being away from home can make her feel out of touch. "Traveling from hotel to hotel can make you a little stir crazy," writes Spears in her caption. So what does a bona fide fitness star do to remedy that? Some sun salutations, of course.

"I decided to start doing two hours of yoga in each room!" says Spears. "The bare floors gave me a pretty solid grip on the ground without a mat."

Of course, it's no surprise that the singer-slash-dancer takes to a sweat sesh to knock out feelings of being cramped up. One glance at her Instagram and you'll see plenty of gym selfies, workout videos, and dancing—so of course she gets loose when she's far away from home and in small places.

"I was very sore the next day, but at least I got to use my time wisely," writes Spears. That's the attitude—despite feeling tight from all those downward dogs and yoga flows (seriously, look at her go), the star's glad to fit in some fitness. When in Rome—do as Britney does and work.
