If you haven’t heard of Rumble, that’s probably about to change: The New York City–based boxing-inspired group fitness class already has a cult following—including Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, and Hailey Baldwin—and is backed by none other than Justin Bieber and Rocky himself, Sylvester Stallone. But could the boutique brand to become the SoulCycle of boxing?
Well, Equinox definitely thinks so: Despite Rumble only having two locations (but more are on the way!), the New York Post reports the luxury gym chain is banking on the boxing classes being a knockout hit, which is why Equinox officially picked up a reported “significant minority” stake in the company. And considering Rumble is already valued at $80 million after only one year in business, the Post reports, it seems like a smart move.

So, what’s different about Rumble compared to other boxing workouts? The 45-minute classes offer an intense mix of strength training and conditioning. But what really sets it apart is aqua training bags: Instead of going for the traditional bags, Rumble’s are shaped like teardrops and filled with water, which helps prevent wrist or joint damage.
With Equinox already owning SoulCycle, Pure Yoga, and Blink Fitness, it wouldn’t be surprising if this creative boutique studio were next. Now, book a spot for the model-approved workout before the class is waitlist-only.
