Got three minutes? Great! Then you’re perfectly primed to squeeze in these muscle-sculpting leg moves with Project by Equinox instructor Megan Roup.
The former Brooklyn Nets dancer (who also teaches at Athleta) is spilling her secrets for getting in an effective burn when you’ve only got a brief workout window. “Lunges and squats just kind of add a nice element where after [a few] minutes you feel a burn,” she advises.
All you need are sliders for helping your feet glide across the floor (a towel works just as fine, too), light weights if you want to up the challenge factor, and, if you prefer, a workout buddy. To demonstrate, Roup is dropping some serious toning knowledge along with BFF Ashley Mills—because sweating together is always better, right?
And even though you’ll be targeting your stems, Roup says the rest of your body won’t be left out. “It’s a full-body movement, so legs, glutes, abs, arms. Everything is sort of involved, and that’s what makes it so great.”
