6-minute lower-body workout with Dagmara Lometti of Barry’s Bootcamp

Athleta Ribbon - 2

What to do when your sanity needs a sweat sesh, but making it to the studio is just not going to happen? Sweat Series is here to help! We partnered with Athleta and asked the industry’s hottest instructors and fit-stagrammers to give us their quickest—and hardest—do-anywhere workouts. So, get pumped! (On your own schedule.)

Barry’s Bootcamp was an immediate fit for New Yorker Dagmara Lometti, who has fitness in her blood—her dad was a professional soccer player and her mom was a competitive swimmer. (Picture their family game night!)

Even so, it was finding a #squad of like-minded women in class that turned the Barry’s regular into a sought-after instructor there.

“Barry’s brings out the inner athlete in people,” she says. “It’s high-intensity, but it’s a team environment. [A group of us] started coming every day, and challenged each other to run faster and lift heavier, just making ourselves be better.”

Now, as a popular Barry’s instructor, Lometti inspires other women looking for a challenge—especially in the weekly “Butt + Legs” class which, luckily for you, she’s pulled from in this six-minute lower body workout.

Get ready for jumping-switch lunges that go right into a series of squats. Do it once or do it twice, she says. Either way, you’ll feel it the next day!

After you do the six-minute lower body boot camp video, check out the rest of our butt-kicking Sweat Series workouts here.
