Move over Fashion’s Night Out! We can’t wait for Sweaty Saturday on October 13, when the city will be transformed into a playground of fitness parties, with perks to boot. We’ve rounded up the details of what’s happening around town, so you can be sure to make it to all of your favorite studios and trainers’ classes. A portion of the proceeds from Sweaty Saturday go to HealthCorps, an organization that fights child obesity, so you can sweat for your health (and others’) at the same time. —Jamie McKillop

Anderson’s Martial Arts
Start your day early with a free 8:00 a.m. Kettlebell Kickboxing class with founder Dasha Libin Anderson.

As One
Columbus Circle
A team-building, two-hour Load class (kettlebells and sandbags!) at this popular indoor boot camp starts at 9 a.m.

Bari Studio
A seminar on pre- and post-workout nutrition starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by a free BariBounce class at 11:00. Then, enjoy complimentary Baripops (the studio’s signature frozen nutrition “pops”) before you leave.

Barry’s Bootcamp
Get your treadmill dance on with an 80s dance party class at 7:00 p.m., taught by owner Joey Gonzalez, in the brand-new Tribeca studio with a live DJ, giveaways, contests, refreshments, and a goodie bag including a free blow dry from Haute Air. Plus, take advantage of a 20-percent-off one-day sale: 5 Tribeca classes for $135 ($24/class), with a portion of the proceeds donated to Healthcorps.

Get ready to party at BBS with an all day rotation of dance cardio classes complete with an in-house DJ. Will there be Anne Hathaway and Sandra Bullock sightings?

Every David Barton location has a packed roster of LookBetterNaked classes and 15-minute personal training consultations—all free and open to members and non-members. The Sweaty Saturday event co-sponsors are hosting a trunk show with The Little Yoga Mat from noon to 4:00 p.m. and samples from Vita Coco and Soft Serve Fruit Co. at Exhale Upper East Side. Or bring your little ones to special Yogi Beans kids classes at either the Upper East Side or Midtown locations. No kids? Get your Core Fusion and Yoga Music Flow on at all five studios city wide.

Master or Mistress of the TorqBoard? Head to Flywheel Flatiron where the top male and female performers will receive a prize. Proceeds from pay-what-you-can Yogi’s Choice classes at both locations will go to HealthCorps. Check out a PrismSports trunk show at the York Avenue location, and an INGO Cucumber Water tasting at the Hot studio on 85th Street and Park Avenue.

Peak Performance
For the first time ever, the elite personal training gym will be hosting three group training sessions: metabolic class at 12:00 pm (led by owner, fitness expert, and celeb trainer Joe Dowdell), a cardio-focused boot camp class at 1:00 p.m., and a 2:00 p.m. boxing class. All classes are $20 and include Vita Coco.

Physique 57
Upper West Side
Enjoy a special 12:30 p.m. Sweat 57 class in addition to post-sweat snacks from Enlightened Ice Cream and a Sparkly Soul headband trunk show at the West 73rd Street location.

Pure Barre

Go back in time with a 1:15 p.m. ’80s themed class at the new Union Square barre studio location. Snacks and giveaways will also be provided all day long. 

Pure Yoga

Both spa-like locations are scheduled to offer a special Hot Power Yoga class from 1:00–2:00 p.m. that’s open to non-members. 

Real Pilates
Alycea Ungaro’s landmark studio will host three different classes throughout the day (maybe this one?!), giving away a Real Pilates Kit at each to one lucky winner.
