Tracy Anderson currently has studios in a few New York cities and Los Angeles, but if you happen to be in Madrid, Spain, this May, don’t be surprised if you see her name: The founder and creator of the Tracy Anderson Method is opening a new location—her first outside the United States!—in the Barrio de Justicia neighborhood of the capital city.

The 1,991-square-foot studio—which Anderson says has been in the works for nearly a year—resides on Fernando VI street inside the renovated LaMarca building, a luxury commercial and residential complex that used to be an antique carriage factory, so expect lots of charm. And just because the studio is in a foreign country doesn’t mean it’s slacking on Anderson’s signature features, like the Iso-Kinetic Band System (for resistance training that’s easier on the joints) and the Super G Floor.

But why Madrid? Tracy says when she “launched the TA Online Studio in 2014, Spain was one of the first countries to take interest and form a strong community of #tamily members.” Around this time, she fostered a friendship with Magally Padron de Capriles, who eventually asked her to be a part of the LaMarca space—and Anderson says knew at that point that she wanted her next studio to be there.

Tracy Anderson Method devotees traveling abroad can attend drop-in classes that are available at select times, and expats in Madrid can snag a monthly membership, just like in the United States.

As for the actual classes, get ready to sweat: There will be a full roster of both muscular structure and dance-cardio classes as well as private training. Tracy Anderson Method devotees traveling abroad can attend drop-in classes that are available at select times, and expats in Madrid can snag a monthly membership, just like in the United States, a brand rep says. (Email madrid@tracyandersonmethod.com for more details soon, as the space is only filling a limited number of spots.)

Making a sweet deal even sweeter, the LaMarca building also houses an athleisure and active-lifestyle concept store, a healthy food market and bar, and a sports training space, according to a press release. And since there are 26 luxury apartments above the commercial spaces, you could literally move right in. The wellness apartment trend is clearly coming in hot, even abroad.

This studio in Spain might be the first international pursuit for Anderson, but she doesn’t plan on it being her last: The brand rep says fans can expect even more outposts outside the US in the future. Staying fit while traveling has never been easier.

Anderson’s six-minute abs workout will burn calories and boost your digestion. Or, give her cardio a workout a try to really work up a sweat.
