Attention TAmily, get ready to “party in the city where the heat is on.”
It’s another sign of how the South Florida city’s fitness scene has been heating up, even though one might assume residents would not want to engage in anything that involved more sweat.
“I have been doing Vitality Weeks in Miami for years, and the community there has always shown a passion and respect for my work,” Anderson says. At the studio, those community members will be able to take muscle sculpting and dance cardio classes with Anderson’s senior trainers, including a new “low-impact, high-calorie burning” dance class called TAva, which is also rolling out at the rest of her studio locations on the same date.
While Anderson herself will only make a few live appearances at the studio, there are plenty of “Real Time” streaming classes with her (and an on-site instructor to assist) on the schedule. (Bonus: a “percentage” of profits will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.)
And if Miami’s dance cardio mavens end up falling for the method as hard as J. Lo did, Anderson is open to more than just a pop-up in the future. “I am very careful about growing studios because I care very much about all of my clients,” she says. “I felt that this opportunity would be a chance to partner with an iconic destination, create awareness for the BCRF, and see the demand for a permanent studio.” Bienvenido a Miami, Tracy.
