“We need endurance and lung capacity in everything we do to increase our energy,” says Burn60 master trainer Julie Diamond. “The abs and lower back get used quite a bit in every sexual position,” Diamond says. “Planks help engage and stabilize these muscles.” Any variation (high, side, single-leg) of the move will work. And perhaps check out these common plank mistakes most people make, so you can practice “core”-ect form.
“Push-ups are great because they increase your ability to support your own bodyweight,” Diamond says. Being able to literally hold you own can make sex more fun, sure. But being able to master this super-challenging move is a major confidence booster, too. And that is where the real magic happens.
3. Glute bridge
“Bridges are my favorite for both men and women. The pubococcygeus muscle is a hammock-shaped muscle that stretches from your pubic bone to your tailbone. Having a strong pelvic floor increases the strength of your orgasms,” Diamond says. So add this move to your list of ways to biohack your big-O.
