Pretty soon, hygge season will be in full swing—which means your comforter and cozy bathrobe will likely be getting way more play than your carry-on.

So before that happens, you may as well book one last out-of-town weekend adventure for 2017. And we've rounded up five getaways that are perfect for satisfying any lingering summer wanderlust, from an extreme yoga retreat in the desert to a digital detox campout in California or a pre-season ski clinic in the Rockies.

None of these escapes should require more than a day or two of PTO, but their itineraries are packed with workouts and workshops—giving you ample #latergram material for the impending winter hibernation.

Scroll down for five long-weekend wellness retreats that are worth booking this fall.

October 5-8: Yogascapes’ Moab Campout

Moab, UT

Those who prefer their asana practice with a side of adrenaline will be way into this glamping retreat, led by veteran yoga instructor Aarona Lea at the chic Under Canvas resort. Each day will be bookended by two yoga classes, with hiking, rock climbing, rafting, and other wild western fun in the middle. After dark, you’ll partake in workshops and rituals with the cards in Lea’s self-designed Moon Deck, as well as a circle honoring the full moon in Aries. (A suitably bold sign for a weekend filled with such badass pursuits.)

October 5-8: Folk Rebellion's Digital Detox Retreat

Russian River Valley, CA

For some people, the thought of going phone-free for three days is enough to bring on a minor panic attack. But this digital detox retreat is an excellent gateway—after all, you’ll have lots of new friends around to support you during those inevitable moments of weakness. (Oh, and it takes place during a holiday weekend, so you likely won’t need to check your work inbox for emergencies.) You’ll be distracted from the urge to scroll with plenty of yoga, meditation, workshops, bonfires, and wine, with your very own vintage Airstream or canvas tent at the ready for solo time. In other words, it’s a weekend that’s sure to be totally Instagram-worthy. Ironic, huh?

October 20-23: Ketanga Fitness' Colorado Adventure Retreat

Denver, CO

If you’re the type who prefers to sweat out your stress, this mid-autumn getaway will have you feeling positively Zen by the time you return home. New York City-based fitness trainer Julia Falamas will be leading you through daily HIIT and mobility sessions—including one at the Red Rocks Amphitheater—with rock climbing, hiking, and yoga ensuring your activity tracker gets a healthy workout, too. And to replenish some of those calories you’ll be burning, there will be a group dinner each night and a tour of Denver’s much-loved craft breweries.

November 16-19: IGNTD Couples

Vail, CO

Los Angeles-based yogi/Philosophie founder Sophie Jaffe and her psychologist husband, Adi, are basically the definition of relationship goals. They're deeply connected and totally hot for each other, even after many years of marriage and two kids. And at their upcoming his-and-hers getaway, it's likely that a little bit of that magic will rub off on you and your beloved. (Um, score.) While the weekend will include many of the usual wellness retreat activities—daily workouts, hikes, superfood meals, sessions on intention-setting and manifestation—you'll also dive deep into topics that will strengthen your bond with your plus-one, like biofeedback stress reduction and enlightened coupleship. Honeymoon phase, take two.

December 2-3: Women’s Early Bird Ski Clinic

Big Sky Resort, MT

Feeling a little shaky in your ski boots after several months off from the snow? This two-day workshop is sure to bring your confidence back fast. Taught by women, for women, it will give you tons of personalized attention (the group is capped at six people!) as well as group lessons to hone your technique for the 2018 ski season. When you’re not on the slopes, your downtime is totally free, which means plenty of hours to recover at the resort’s spa or yoga studio. (Something tells me you’ll need it.)

And while you're on the road, here's some advice from Well+Good Council members on staying healthy—plus, Miranda Kerr's in-flight, glowy-skin secrets.
