Well+Good TALKS: The Future of Healthy Eating in 2020 and Beyond

Eating “healthy” looks a lot different than it did just six months ago, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grip the country and protests demanding racial justice shine a spotlight on the vast inequities in all parts of society—including our food system. Join us for a state of the union discussion with experts to talk about how this intense moment of change is affecting how we eat and why—and how that will play out in the months ahead.

For this W+G TALK, every dollar raised will be donated to HEAL Food Alliance, a multi-sector, multi-racial coalition building collective power to transform our food and farm systems.

THE PANEL

Ebony Butler, PhD | Psychologist + Food Relationship Strategist

Ebony Butler, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and food relationship strategist who has made it her mission to help women of color heal and thrive in the areas of trauma and diet recovery. Dr. Butler takes great pride in guiding women to develop skills that increase their effectiveness in interpersonal interactions, including communication and asking for/getting what they want and need. Dr. Butler is specifically interested in issues that impact marginalized communities, including minority women and LGBT persons. Given the extensive amount of attention placed on body size and dieting in our society, Dr. Butler understands how these pressures can impact one's relationship with food and their bodies.
