Hain Celestial buys BluePrint juice and cleanse

BluePrintHain Celestial, the natural products giant that owns companies like Celestial Seasonings teas, Spectrum Naturals kitchen staples, Avalon Organics natural beauty products (and about a million more), announced yesterday that it was acquiring juice and cleanse fave BluePrint.

With the purchase, the company said it would elevate BluePrint from indie juice brand to “global business.”

BluePrint founders Zoe Sakoutis and Erica Huss (who just gave us three great green juice recipes to make at home) will continue to manage the juice brand’s day-to-day operations.

With BluePrint now playing in the big leagues and Starbucks expanding its juice business across the country, bottled green juices may soon be as common a sight as a morning latte.
