Raise money for breast cancer during Manhattan’s first overnight Power Walk

Join us on July 20th for a fundraiser—in your bra—and the Moonwalk’s stateside debut

Screen Shot 2013-04-30 at 9.53.32 AMBeloved British charity, Walk the Walk, is bringing its famous MoonWalk to New York City for the first time, presented by Empire BlueCross BlueShield.

This is no early morning 5K in the park. The MoonWalk starts at 8:00 p.m., and the route winds past illuminated Manhattan landmarks, and takes over the city that never sleeps.

You’ll join thousands of Power Walkers (including Well+Good founders Alexia and Melisse) for a half or full marathon. The dress code? Your own festively decorated Maidenform bra to highlight that the event raises money for breast cancer, with all proceeds going towards the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

The MoonWalk is a charity event, party, and fashion show all in one—channel your inner Tim Gunn when you design your bra! In fact, Organic Avenue is even hosting a bra decorating party in mid-July! And the suggested minimum fundraising goal is a very manageable $150.

Festivities start on Randall’s Island with a pre-walk pasta dinner and opening ceremony. Sip on Balance Water the entire night and plan to finish in time for an early-bird breakfast on Sunday. Create a team, throw a bra-decorating party, and register now!

Sign up now for a good cause and a good time.
