Crawford admitted in a recent video with Byrdie that if she’s not sticking to basics, she needs a makeup artist. Aside from keeping a versatile, fuss-free four-color eye-shadow palette with her at all times, she’s also a huge fan of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil—which she’s tweaked to more easily sculpt her above-eye furries. Instead of using the straight-as-an-arrow spooly brush on the end and angling her wrist, she’s bends it to better match the direction of her brow hairs.
“My little hack is that I actually bend the brush at the end because I find that makes it easier for me to get in.” —Cindy Crawford
“I love this pencil. My little hack is that I actually bend the brush at the end because I find that makes it easier for me to get in,” she says. “When it’s straight, it just doesn’t feel right in my hand.”
Because she can work the brush into her brows better this way, she ends up with a more natural, less drawn-on look—and she doesn’t get a makeup-induced hand cramp in the process from working at such an awkward angle. Who knew one tiny adjustment could make such a big difference in zhuzhing up your bushy beauties?
