This April Is Earth Month at Well+Good

April 22 will mark 50 years since American individuals, organizations, and politicians on both sides of the aisle came together to celebrate the very first Earth Day, and 30 years since the holiday became a global phenomenon. While the mood this April is decidedly less celebratory, we still find ourselves coming together as an entire planet once again to combat a crisis.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change might not feel like the most pressing issue of the day, week, or month, but the environment still directly affects our mental health, physical vitality, and overall well-being. And, as with the coronavirus, mitigating the negative effects of climate change will require a collective effort in order to prevent a terrifying worst-case scenario from unfolding.

So this April, Well+Good is observing Earth Month by taking a look at how climate change is forever altering the world in which we live—and how the choices we make can impact our collective future, and the future of the planet.
