Kimberly Zapata

Kimberly Zapata is a mother, writer, mental health advocate, and owner of Greater Than Illness, a non-profit organization that aims to empower children and young adults with mental health conditions. She has more than eight years of editorial and writing experience, and she is currently an associate editor at Parents Magazine. Her work has also been featured in various publications, including The Washington Post, HuffPost, O, The Oprah Magazine, VICE, Parents, Health, Healthline, Parade, SheKnows, StyleCaster, and Scary Mommy. Kimberly received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Temple University and currently lives in New York.
