The 2025 Oscars ceremony and red carpet weren't short of stunning beauty moments. Our favorite celebrities and their glam squads pulled out all the stops for entertainment's biggest night, and now we've got lots of hair and makeup inspo to show for it. Many celebs opted for classic nude nails, but sprinkled throughout were metallic hues, lots of decorated french tips, and detailed decals, proving it was a really fun night for nails. Ahead, find our favorite nail art looks from the 2025 Oscars.

Square stiletto set

Doja Cat’s nail artist Saccia Livingston contrasted the rapper's animal-printed gown with a pearly nude extra long square set of nails using Aprés Gel-X Sculpted Square Extra Long Tips.

Pearly accents

Lupita Nyong'o kept pearl accents consistent throughout her look, wearing them on her dress, in her hair, and at the very tips of her creamy nude almond shaped nails.

Jaded green tips

Tennis superstar Coco Gauff attended the Oscars with a jelly green ombré set on a neutral base.

Wicked tips

This wouldn't be an Oscars nails roundup without mention of Cynthia Erivo's trademark tips. For her red carpet moment, nail artist ClawzByDior created a custom gilded gold set for the actress, with some nails featuring cross and chain details, a clock, and hand-drawn 3D sculpted accents.

Classic French tips

Ariana Grande opted for a classic French almond-shaped set, perfectly complementing her ethereal gown and makeup.

Neutral nails were a huge trend for the night, but Storm Reid went for the opposite: a fun mix-and-match set featuring black and white polka dot French tips with white and turquoise accent nails.

Celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik gave Selena Gomez a creamy peach nail color for her Oscars moment using CND shellac in Rule Breaker and Silk Thread.

Celebrity manicurist Stephanie Stone gave Ruth Negga's almond tips a few coats of Aprés Never Bordeaux You for a burgundy brown that popped nicely against her white gown.  

Gilded silver ombré

If you want a simple set that isn't just nude and white, opt for a faded metallic silver like celebrity manicurist Kim Troung did for Halle Berry. “Halle' dress is beautifully embellished with rhinestones and mirrored glass. We wanted to keep the nails a touch more subdued but with a little oomph so we decided on this cool faded metallic tip,” Troung said.

Subtle rose decal

Dwayne Wade's Vanity Fair After Party nails made a strong case for a super simple, clean manicured look with a twist, which, in his case, was a beautiful barely-there gold rose painted by celebrity manicurist Thuy Nguyen.

Gold foil cuticles

Nguyen also utilized gold for Gabrielle Union but in the form of metallic gold shimmer along the cuticles and sides of her bronze base.
