My “hasn’t recently lived anywhere that drops below 60 degrees” is showing, but I didn’t know that fleece leggings were a thing until it was brought up on our company Slack. Thank goodness that conversation happened when it did, because shortly after that the mornings and nights here in Los Angeles got really cold. (I know there were a lot of eye rolls at that, but one of my best friends is Canadian and she said to tell people that she even thought it was cold. So there.) Behold, nine pairs of fleece leggings that are the same as a warm hug… as long as you’ve completely forgotten what human touch feels like, like I have.

My long-time crush texted me “brrr” recently as an opening line, and it’s embarrassing on multiple levels how quickly I responded. But I did not actually feel “omgggg I know, it’s freezing [snowflake emoji]” because I was wearing these cozy leggings when he texted.

I see myself wearing these fleece leggings with one of my boyfriend’s flannels, as we cuddle on a log in front of the campfire he built with his bare hands, sipping spiked hot chocolate. This, of course, exists only in my rugged outdoorsman fantasy scenario, as IRL I have no boyfriend and no desire to spend the night outdoors.
