Ah, fall. Perfect for apple picking, pumpkin spice lattes, and, according to Cariuma, a brand-new pair of sneakers.

The sustainable footwear brand beloved by A-listers like Helen Mirren and Pete Davidson recently partnered with the color experts at Pantone to launch three new autumnal hues just in time for the chillier temps ahead. The new Cariuma x Pantone OCA Low Sneakers ($95) add a cozy pop of color to your fall wardrobe, whether that's a rosy red (Ruby Wine), a moody blue (Navy Peony), or a warm mocha (Cacao Nibs).

Cariuma x Pantone, OCA Low - Ruby Red — $95.00

Available sizes: 5-13, in half sizes

Now available in three new Pantone hues: Ruby Wine, Navy Peony, and Cacao Nibs

Pros:

  • Made from sustainable materials
  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight
  • Supportive
  • No break-in period
  • Two trees planted with every purchase
  • Affordable (under $100)

Cons:

  • Select colors/sizes sold out

Looks aside, the Cariuma x Pantone sneakers are about as comfy and eco-friendly as they come. Designed from ethically sourced organic materials and vegan fabrics that are lightweight on your soles and the planet, these Cariuma sneakers are made with comfort, care, and footprint (literally) in mind.

I’m a big fan of Cariuma sneakers myself. Not only do I appreciate the brand’s commitment to sustainability—and the fact that they plant two trees for every pair of shoes sold—but I also find them to be some of the most comfortable shoes I own. As someone with high arches, I appreciate the soft insoles that cradle my feet and the way the shoes have that flat, low-profile look without sacrificing support. They take zero time to break in. Seriously—you can slip them on straight out of the box and won't need to worry about blisters or soreness, they're that comfy.

Each pair of OCA Lows is constructed from organic cotton canvas, which boasts plenty of breathability on unseasonably warm days, and mamona-oil cork insoles (a plant-based alternative to petroleum) that have plenty of bounce. Despite being ultra-lightweight, they have hardy design features to help them withstand the test of time, such as a slight rubber toe cap for added durability, and slip-proof rubber outsoles for navigating slick surfaces.

I have the Ruby Wine, which, to be honest, isn’t usually my go-to color, but the burgundy tone goes with *literally* everything and is the perfect subtle pop of color for the season. (I now live in them and wear them with everything from jeans and a T-shirt to dresses). The Navy Peony is inspired by autumn’s gorgeous cloudy skies and is a fun way to add color to your wardrobe while remaining a little more neutral. For the diehard minimalists, there's the warm Cacao Nibs Pantone color, which is the collection’s resident earthy tone and is so chic.

In addition to these limited-edition fall colors, the brand also still has some other fun Pantone hues from previous collections in stock, including a trendy Kelly green, hot pink, light tan, and creamy white. But for those who are eagerly awaiting #CozySeason, the Cariuma x Pantone fall collection is worth shopping.

Cariuma x Pantone, OCA Low - Navy Peony — $95.00

Though they’re inspired by fall’s inevitable cloudy days, there’s nothing cloudy about these navy sneakers. Pop ’em on and add a burst of color to any ‘fit.

Cariuma x Pantone, OCA Low - Cacao Nibs — $95.00

This posh brown is as warm and cozy as the chocolate it’s named after. Pair ’em with jeans, a maxi skirt, a T-shirt dress—just about anything.
