Solo jogs can be great—but group runs with a throng of powerful women? That’s occasion to throw on your “the future is female” t-shirt and call it a party.
On Saturday, June 10, you can do just that at NYRR New York Mini 10K in Central Park—AKA, the world’s original women-only road race.
Started by New York Road Runners in 1972, it was named after the miniskirt—which now might just be a cute outfit option, but back then was the ultimate symbol of empowerment.
Winning the Mini could snag you some serious prize money, but at the very least, you’ll score a dose of girl power, thirst-quenching juices, and Well+Good swag.
Sign up ASAP—team W+G will be cheering you on!
