A peek at the pretty New Balance x Kate Spade Saturday collaboration

Kate Spade Saturday_New Balance_3We’re entering an exciting era where fashion brands and activewear ones are collaborating to fill your closet with studio-to-street styles.

It’s starting with New Balance and Kate Spade Saturday, who’ve laced together their aesthetics for a cool, chic, and very graphic collection of sneakers ($95 a pair).

New Balance, of course, is a Fashion Week favorite known for its super street-friendly sneaker designs (good with dresses!), while Kate Spade Saturday, sister brand to the super cheerful and preppy Kate Spade, is known for its relaxed urban vibe and pretty prints.

Outfit planning around these kicks can wait a hot second, because the debut 2015 spring collection drops in February. But we can tell you now it includes New Balance’s popular 711 and new 811 cross-training done up stylishly in prints by Kate Spade Saturday.

We have a feeling these will become the staple you build your Sunday brunch uniform around. —Molly Gallagher
