Summertime and the glowing is…sometimes less easily achieved than we’d like, thanks to the sun’s harsh rays and swimming pools that turn skin dry and flaky.
Which is probably why June’s best natural beauty debuts are all about making body care a priority, hydrated skin a reality, and makeup that can deal with the climate.

This new does-it-all product is all you need to apply SPF, hydrate, and even out skin tone when you’re running out the door in the morning, and it leads to a bright, glowy complexion.
Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in “Happy” ($56)
The natural makeup brand’s cult-following is obsessed with these gorgeously packaged cream blushes for good reason: no powder blush could make you look this glowy. Don’t be scared off by the bright new-for-summer shade: it’ll give you a rosy, just-left-an-awesome-workout flush. And it’s packed with jojoba and rosa rubiginosa oils that moisturize and help support healthy skin.

When you pack a sweaty workout into an already sweaty day, you need a serious cleanser, like Estelle & Thild‘s newest. The organic Stockholm-based line smartly straddles the facial fine line that all cleansers should—washing away grime and makeup without stripping your skin of essential moisture. Ingredients like black elderflower help purify your pores, while aloe leaf juice leaves skin moisturized, not tight.

Sun rays, salt water, A/C blasting you in the office…while the summer may be the best time to show off your skin, the elements aren’t exactly helping it look its best. Enter this luxe body serum, which packs a potent combo of 15 organic oils, including argan (Kahina’s ethically obtained signature ingredient), coconut, and olive. It’s a skin-nourishing cocktail that helps boost your skin’s elasticity, and the light summer scent evokes the Moroccan allure of the coastal city the serum’s named for.

This Williamsburg, Brooklyn, company got its name by their scrubs being “skinny” of fillers, and it lives up to it with their new vegan body washes, made with a blend of hydrating plant oils (coconut, among them). All four blends have a natural, earthy, or clean scent (nothing floral). The super inventive Cardamom & Pink Peppercorn stands out for its grounding spa spiciness.
This is the newest shade from the rocker-model turned makeup-artist-founded line, which names its shades after female legends. “Audrey” (for Ms. Hepburn, of course) is an opaque, rose mauve. And like the rest of the uber-cool collection, it has a slight stickiness, which means your makeup isn’t whisked away by every sip of green juice.

According to beauty lore, light-weight night creams are an oxymoron, since they’re supposed to be thicker for night repair. But Dr. H doesn’t go for that, and wants to “support the skin’s own processes” instead of slathering on more. So this new serum is about to be a fave of those who find their facial oils too heavy for summer or who have combination skin. It feels like a gel (that’s the rose apple extract, red algae, and witch hazel), absorbs fast, and goes immediately matte. To be honest, it would make a great daytime serum-primer too.
A multitasking makeup stick is as necessary for beach vacations or European jaunts as your sunscreen and passport. This new shade of the multi-hyphenate makeup and moisturizer gives your cheeks and lips a universally-flattering, muted, dusty rose tint—while also packing a nourishing dose of vitamin E and shea butter.
