Dr. Alejandro Junger starts his day in a snuggly way

Each morning I try to take 10 minutes to myself to gather and reflect on my thoughts, intentions and wishes for the day. Ideally I do this before getting out of bed.

My breakfast almost always consists of a nutrient-rich shake, like this Almond Butter Berry one using the Daily Shake Mix. I often add different fruits and leafy greens. I add all ingredients into my Breville Boss blender, which gets everything blended smoothly.

To support good gut health, especially when I’m traveling, I always have a daily probiotic on hand. This is good for my immune system and aids with digestion.

I also take vitamin D3 each day. D3 is a crucial anti-inflammatory and necessary for good mood and mental health so I take it daily, even in the summer. It’s one of the biggest deficiencies I see with my clients.

I love to linger in my pajamas as long as possible, so I save showering and getting dressed for my day until the very end of my morning routine. I also love my Padraig Slippers and often keep them on, even when I leave the house.
