Heyday opened in June 2015 in Flatiron, on a mission to move facials from the "splurge" category to the "monthly maintenance" category for New Yorkers—with lower prices, longer opening hours, and shorter, more targeted treatments.
Adam Ross, the company's CEO and co-founder, says he is particularly excited to be part of another strong neighborhood. "Many clients of ours are downtown, and Tribeca has such a strong sense of community, so it was an obvious choice for us," he says. "Our Flatiron location is close to capacity, so we can now remove this bottleneck in the business."
"I'm excited to build on our mission of making professional skincare and the amazing therapists behind it more accessible," adds Michael Pollak, Heyday's chief brand officer and co-founder. "Skincare is such an important part of the self-care and wellness equation, which is alive and well with so many other businesses in Tribeca."
No stranger to chic interior design, Heyday's new 1,100-square-foot shop will have a subtle nod to its neighborhood. "We have a space that represents the DNA of Tribeca—a landmark building, tall ceilings, wooden flooring, etc. It feels a little more loft-like and residential," Ross says. Think navy accents, white tiles, light woods, and plenty of succulents.
And, of course, Heyday's aestheticians are bringing their customized facial treatments to the location, with the full menu of 30-, 50-, and 75-minute options as well as enhancements such as light therapy and microdermabrasion.
"It’s amazing to see more and more regular clients coming back and how much their skin has improved," adds Ross. "It’s so gratifying to know that we’re playing a key role in helping people to be the best version of themselves, so they can put their best face forward."
