Is Starbucks’ New Maple Pecan Latte Healthier Than the PSL?
Despite name-checking fall's starring squash, sipping on a PSL isn't exactly good for you. (But hey, it is delicious and there are ways to make it healthier.) A tall with 2 percent milk has 240 calories and 37 grams of sugar. How does the new maple pecan latte compare? Is it any healthier?

While Starbucks isn't officially releasing the nutritional info on their latest drink until tomorrow, since it's made with a syrup, the sugar content is still pretty high. A tall with 2 percent milk has 270 calories and 35 grams of sugar. Let's just call it what it is: a tasty fall treat. The makeup is pretty on par with the PSL (though the maple is a bit higher in calories)—AKA order for taste, not nutritional value.
There are lots of ways to keep your Starbucks order good for you, including ordering one of these off-the-menu drinks. And their avocado spread is a definite win, too.
