Still, despite the hectic schedule, Biel says she always makes time to exercise. Her preferred form of fitness? “Yoga definitely is a massive staple in my routine and regimen,” she says. “It’s made a difference for my stress levels, my wellbeing, and my whole body.”
She tries to practice at least three to five times each week, if not more. “The routine of it and the meditative quality for me is so much greater,” says Biel, who happens to be a fan of the fast fitness trend. “For me, it doesn’t have to be an hour-and-a-half or two hours or a long experience—if I can just do 20 minutes a day….”
It might seem brief, but just 20 minutes of yoga can help your brain function better. Plus, research shows that as little as 15 minutes of it regularly can trigger a relaxation response in the body. Kind of makes you want to unfurl your mat, doesn’t it?
