There's something about starting the year in a retrograde (yep, it's happening) that really makes you question the cosmos. As in, "Why universe? Haven't we earned a somewhat 'normal' year at this point?" The good news? On today's episode of The Well+Good Podcast, astrologer, writer, and educator Kirah Tabourn tells us that those with one particular rising sign are primed to find love now that Jupiter is sitting in Pisces until May 10, 2022. And even if it's not you, take heart that the astrologer extraordinaire has other insights from the stars to help you navigate this fresh, shiny new year.

According to Tabourn, Jupiter in Pisces is a magical, special transit for everyone. (And if you're like, "what?," note that a transit occurs when a planet moves across a specific position on one's birth chart. In this case, it's the planet Jupiter moving into Pisces.) "One of the most exciting things [about this year] is that Jupiter will be in Pisces for a good amount of it. Not as long as I would want, but half the year. That's really...exciting because Jupiter is at home in Pisces, and it's a place where Jupiter can be Jupiter in the sense of providing healing, abundance, love, and perspective for all of us," she says. Sounds pretty good, right?

While everyone will feel the heart-lifting effects of Jupiter reunion with Pisces, the universe has picked its favorites for now. Congratulations, go-with-the-flow mutable signs, this is your time to find love. "[Jupiter in Pisces] is going to be great for a lot of people in regards to romance, particularly the mutable rising folks. So people who are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces rising, this could be really good for you—relationship wise." She then adds that single Pisces rising signs should be particularly amped. "I think that if you're a Scorpio rising and you are single and you don't want to be, January, February, March, and April of this year [will be] your time to go out and be seen, have fun, and go on dates. It's also ripe for good sex. I'll say that," says Tabourn.

She also says that Pisces being in Jupiter means Pisces risings may be more likely to get pregnant, so both those who are planning to have a family (and those who are not) should bear that in mind as they enjoy all those Jupiter-powered trysts. (Wink, wink.)

That said, if you're not a mutable rising sign fret not: This week's episode of the podcast is covering all things retrograde, squares, and more—so you can put your best astrological foot forward.
