Widespread work from home culture has opened the door to endless workout possibilities, but the lunchtime workout is potentially the most game-changing of all. According to studio-booking service ClassPass's end of year trends report, the middle of the workday is now the most popular time to break a sweat. And, if you're anything like the ClassPass users, lunchtime yoga is your go-to.

"Yoga is the lockdown winner and increased in popularity by 25 percent as members called for ways to manage pandemic stress," says ClassPass. "Yoga was also the most popular workout for someone taking their first livestream class." It's no surprise that folks would queue up a yoga class when work stress comes knocking: The ancient fitness modality has been found to mitigate stress and quite literally strip away self-imposed limitations to leave you with a clear and motivated mindset.

Below, you'll find five yoga classes you can take on your lunch break and log back into your online office with a lighter heart and a sizeable mood boost.

Lunchtime yoga workouts for putting the first half of the day behind you

1. 20-Minute Yoga Strength with Sky Ting

On a bad day, it can help to do something that makes you feel strong—and this yoga class is just that. In this class, Chloe Kernaghan and Krissy Jones, co-founders of New York City’s Sky Ting yoga studio, guide you through a quickie class with plenty of muscle-burning poses.

2. 20-minute wakeup yoga

We've all had those days when 2 p.m. rolls around and you still feel groggy. For those unfortunate instances, press play on this yoga flow that's basically a cup of joe in a 15-minute class.

3. 30-minute energizing yoga flow

Another flow for energy, this sequence guides you through plenty of heart openers to decompress those rounded shoulders and crack open all the energy you need for the rest of the day.

4. 11-minute yoga for core

If you want to revitalize yourself—and fast—core work is the ticket. With this flow, your body will be toasty warm in a matter of minutes. You'll return to work with your heart rate still elevated and burn through whatever's left on your to-do list.

5. Yoga for glute strength

So you want to get into your glutes during your 1 p.m. yoga sesh? Great. Yoga teacher Andrea Russell will take you through a little sequence made to wake up those butt muscles that have more than likely fallen asleep during hours of Zoom meetings.
