Expect this week's energy to feel romantic and bold, as far as the universe is concerned. Mercury is gaining speed on his direct path, and we may see conflicts and points of confusion from retrograde clear away. We may also see obstacles fall away as we gain greater clarity on what we want. This most certainly will apply to partnerships, as we prepare for a chance encounter with Venus and Mars in Leo in the coming weeks. The focus, with this in mind, will be on creating space for and appreciating love in your life.

To help you, reflect on your learnings associated with the Capricorn full moon at the end of last week: What was it like to embody your opposite? Did you gain greater empathy for your partner and other important people in your life? Taking part in introspective exercises like these can help us understand how to show appreciation for all that our partner or other loved ones bring to the table.

Mars and Venus don’t meet up very often. But when they do (especially in the bold and intense sign of Leo), we can expect an out-loud expression of our desires without apology.

This empathy exercise will also pave the way for the intensity we'll experience with Venus in Leo at the beginning of the week, when it meets up with Mars in Leo. Venus, which represents what we appreciate and how we love, and Mars, which represents our drive and ambition, don’t meet up very often. But when they do (especially in the bold and intense sign of Leo), we can expect an out loud expression of our desires without apology. Basically, expect the energy to feel reflective of shot girl summer.

If you’re seeking out a partner, I strongly encourage you to use the energy of Mars and Venus in Leo to your advantage. If you’ve become apathetic with dating process, ask yourself what really matters to you in a partnership, and use this energy to manifest. To do so, imagine the feeling of what it would be like to have that great love in your life. Showing up as if that partner is right around the corner helps you manifest that person and doing so will also bring you one step closer to that clandestine meeting with a potential match. If you’re coupled up, the power of manifestation can also help you live in a more complete partnership, whatever that means to you.

With all of that in mind, it’s certainly important to have chemistry with your match, as Venus and Mars in Leo communicate, but you may also introspect to ensure your partnership is in alignment with your ultimate goals. Have this in mind as you date potential partners, giving your future self that “check” of approval.

To do so, work to ensure those around you share similar values by asking what they want in life. If you're not agreeing or you see any big red flags early on, make like a Leo and excuse yourself to hang out with your pals. After all, this energy is incredibly social as well. You may even meet your match out on the town.
