Textured hair has long been billed as "difficult" to manage, to put it nicely. So we've resigned to spending hours caring for it. The fact that "wash day" is a thing is bonkers—no one should have to spend hours washing, conditioning, and styling their hair for everyday styles. And the three-step Hello Gorgeous Hair Care System from Naturalicious cuts your wash routine down to 30 minutes.
"I always felt that it was ridiculous that people who had naturally textured hair, specifically Black women, were kind of stuck with the status quo that your hair has to be a chore," says Gwen Jimmere, founder and CEO of Naturalicious. "Every single product that we make is designed to be multitasking."
The Hello Gorgeous Hair Care System comes in two formulations, one for tight curls and coils and another for medium-to-loose curls and waves. You can shop the product in bundles to save money, or buy them individually.

Step one of the system is the Moroccan Rhassoul 5-in-1 Clay Treatment. The formulation is so good that Jimmere got it patented, making her the first Black woman to own a patent on a natural hair-care product. If functions as a shampoo, a conditioner, a deep conditioner, a detangler, and a leave-in conditioner.
"We have people who are washing their hair on wash day, and doing all the steps, the conditioning, the deep conditioning, everything, and they're spending upwards of three to five hours, says Jimmere. "With our product, you're in and out in half an hour or less because you're combining all these different steps."
Because it actually cleans your hair instead of just conditioning, it's not to be mistaken for a co-wash. "I actually hate co-washing because conditioner's not designed to wash your hair," she says. But since it's not a heavy-duty shampoo, Jimmere recommends using a clarifying product once a month for a deep, build-up blasting clean. She opts for a diluted apple cider vinegar treatment (one part ACV to six parts water). "I love clarifying day because you just, it's such a huge difference in your hair when you do a clarifying treatment," says Jimmere. Alternatively, she says you can use a sulfate-based shampoo to clarify.
Step two is the Moisture Infusion Moisture Styling Creme, which functions as a moisturizer, a styling cream, and a heat protectant.
"Whenever you want to do your twist-outs, your braid-outs, your wash and gos, your any style, it's your styling cream for that. It gives you a soft hold, lots of definition, but still a relatively soft hold, so your hair has a lot of movement," she says. "It's a heat protectant, so if you're going to be straightening your hair it's great for that. It doesn't have any drying ingredients in it. And it is also a moisturizer. So in order to keep our hair from breaking and being dry and all that sort of stuff, and just to keep it looking fantastic and the curls popping, we have to keep it moisturized."
Step three is the Divine Shine Moisture Lock & Frizz Fighter which is a moisture sealant, finishing oil, and hot oil treatment in one.
"Some of us, our hair will literally absorb moisture as soon as we put it on our hair, it pretty much sucks it up and it feels dry again. And so step three locks in the moisture for three times as long as a moisturizer alone," says Jimmere. "It also provides your hair with a shine that we all love and want, but because of the density of our hair sometimes, and the texture, depending on how coarse your hair texture is, it doesn't always have a shine naturally."
To use it as a hot oil treatment, Jimmere says to heat up water and place the bottle in the water to heat the oil. Then, apply the warm oil to your hair. You can do this every time you wash your hair, but at least do it once a month.
