I'm a water bottle girlie through and through—so much so that you'll never catch me without one. Having a water bottle around 24/7 serves as my gentle reminder to hydrate throughout the day, so you'll find it on my standing desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter. HydroFlask has been in my water bottle rotation for two years, but the Owala Freeship Stainless Steel Water Bottle (normally $25) is becoming a close contender, and for a limited time, it's 24 percent off on Amazon.

What's to love about the Owala's FreeSip Insulated Water Bottle? First of all, it's easy to carry and use thanks to the push open button and carrying loop, which serves as the bottle's lock. Engineered with three layers of stainless steel, this bottle holds up to 32 ounces of liquids and keeps water cold for up to 24 hours (Impressive, I know). "I love the fact that whatever I put in here is staying ice cold," says Han Schneider, Well+Good's health writer. "I wake up in the morning and the bottle still rattles with ice I had in there from the night before." Being made of stainless steel also means that the water bottle is bisphenol A (BPA)- and phthalate-free.

Our two W+G commerce editors also own one, and swear it's just as durable as HyrdoFlask. "I have several HydroFlasks, which I love, but my Owala continues to be a go-to—and it's lasted just as long as my more expensive bottles. It never leaks or malfunctions," our senior commerce editor, Gina Vaynshteyn says.

I also appreciate the bottle's sipping mechanics. Unlike other water bottles with bulky, external straws, this bottle has a built-in one, allowing you to sip upright and drink minus the spills and leaks. It has a bigger mouth sprout, so that you can tilt the bottle back and drink regularly. What's more, the bottle is easy to clean and there are a dozen of colors to choose from: Poolside Punch, Neon Basil, Grape, and more.

Not convinced? Check out the nearly 1,700 five-star reviews or 15,500 five-star ratings that Amazon shoppers left. "The design is a game changer. Tipping a big water bottle up while driving or in general is a pain. Holding this with one hand and being able to drink is amazing," one customer wrote. Another said: "I left my water bottle in my hot car for three hours one day on accident. The ice was still there."

It's clear how Owala's Freeship Stainless Steel Water Bottle has easily become a favorite among our team and Amazon shoppers. We promise it'll become yours, too. Happy sipping!
