And that's precisely what Hale (a self-proclaimed "champion napper") is doing with her downtime—only the "social scene" isn't a bar or a club. It's SoulCycle.
"It is definitely a scene. But it does something for me! It's like my church, in a way."
"It is definitely a scene," the Tennessee native told Elle in a recent interview. "But it has also lived up to the hype. There are certain things about it where I'm like, 'Ugh, guys, really?' But it does something for me! It's like my church, in a way. There are people that are just drinking the Kool-Aid way more than I am, but that's all right. It's a healthy vice." (She's also been known to hit up Orangetheory Fitness, which she called "legitimately the hardest workout of my life.")
As for any other vices, like the stereotypical boozy nights out and hungover brunches? Health-conscious Hale isn't super interested.
"I'm not a big drinker at all," she says. "My version of that is like, "Let's go grab a coffee, let's go on a hike." I'm so LA. It's a big social aspect of so many people's lives, and I totally get that."
SoulCycle, hiking, and coffee? Sounds like a pretty great little day to me.
