This Rapper Is Dominating Spotify Workout Playlists Right Now

No matter your sweat sesh of choice—from free weights and SoulCycle to alfresco running and puppy Pilates—there's nothing like a power song to push you through the seriously hard parts of your workout, or, um, all of it. If your power-anthem of choice on your playlist happens to be by Eminem, you're not alone. In fact, two of Spotify's top three most-streamed global workout songs are by the American rapper.

The songs, "Till I Collapse" and "Lose Yourself" respectively occupy the first- and third-place spots on the music streaming service's rankings. Having jab-cross-uppercutted to both of these in plenty of kickboxing classes, I can attest to their "Don't quit now!" power. But you may be surprised to know that both of these songs were released more than 15 *years* ago, in 2002. Cue mic drop.

This actually marks the second consecutive year that "Till I Collapse" landed at the top of Spotify's most-streamed workout songs across the globe, but there are also much newer tracks in the top 10. Post Malone's "Rockstar" came in at number two, and Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" at number four. Both were released in 2017.

But, since classics never waver, I'm guessing Eminem's power tracks are unlikely to budge anytime soon. I mean, you wouldn't dare do stair runs to anything but "Eye of the Tiger," right?

If you're serious about your love for music, you can actually train for the summer music festivals—really! Just don't forget to unplug every now and then to get the most out of your workouts
