These days—much like eating out at restaurants and getting your eyebrows done—buttoning a pair of pants feels like a distant memory. Honestly, if I came across a zipper right now, I’m not 100 percent sure I’d still know what to do with it. Quarantine has put us all into committed relationships with our leggings. ATP, it seems highly unlikely that we’ll ever go back to our #hardpants lifestyle of the past. But as temperatures climb (and there’s still no real end in sight as to when we’ll have to officially going back to work), we’ve decided we’re swapping out our stretchy pants for something a bit breezier: the T-shirt dress.

Not only are T-shirt dresses just as comfortable as leggings, but they make getting dressed in the morning even easier than tossing on a pair of sweats and a tank top, because your entire outfit only requires a single article of clothing (bra, obviously, optional). A T-shirt dress will make you look more put together than your usual workout gear—especially if you dress it up with some statement jewelry or add some oomph by way of a bold red lip—but is still casual enough that you won’t feel ridiculous rocking it around the house.
