1. What makes Well+Good Retreats different from other retreats?
These intimate retreats (about 40 people a pop) are unforgettable experiences led by the top fitness and wellness luminaries (all hand-picked by our editors, of course). We’re combining best-in-class workouts, delicious healthy food, and a cool wellness approach for all that mirrors the Well+Good website ethos. Well+Good Retreats offer a high-vibe chance to slow down and connect with the W+G community.
2. Why Palm Springs?
Palm Springs is made for poolside lounging, sun-soaked reflection, and soothing massages or facials (or both). We’ll be taking over the entire Avalon Hotel for a seriously intimate experience on the luxe Hollywood Regency grounds, updated with a chill white color palette by interiors goddess Kelly Wearstler. Unplug amidst citrus trees, aquamarine pools, and the gorgeous backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.
3. How many guests will there be at each retreat?
We wanted to create immersive, intimate experiences and are capping registration at 50. Booking along with your BFF is totally welcome.
4. What is not included in the pricing?
Travel (flights and transportation to-and-from the airport), alcohol, and spa-related activities are not included. Food, beverage, accommodations, and daily activities with your leaders Candice Kumai and Charlee Atkins are included.
5. What is the closest airport to Avalon Hotel Palm Springs?
Palm Springs International Airport is about seven minutes by car to Avalon Hotel Palm Springs.
6. What time should I plan on arriving at the Avalon Hotel in Palm Springs?
Arrive by 1 p.m. for a light welcome lunch followed by a Le Stretch session with Charlee Atkins. Official check-in time is 4 p.m., so it’s cool if you can’t make it until then, too.
7. What do I need to bring?
Prior to the retreat, Well+Good provide a packing list with suggested items to bring.
8. What level will the fitness classes be?
Le Sweat and Le Stretch workout classes with Charlee Atkins are accessible to all fitness levels and are easy to modify.
9. Will this retreat be accommodating to food allergies?
Yes. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance, and we will work with the chef to accommodate your needs.
10. Do I need to participate in every activity?
All activities are optional. (We get that me-time is important, too!)
11. How much does it cost?
Food, beverage (non-alcoholic), accommodations, and daily activities with your leaders Candice Kumai and Charlee Atkins are included. Here’s the breakdown:
Single Room: $3,000 (sleeps one person)
Double Room: $2,600 per person (sleeps two people)
Bungalows: $2,100 per person (sleeps four people, with two shared beds)
