9 Great Brooklyn Juice Bars

In the borough of Brooklyn, where artisanal bacon and culinary cocktails rule the food scene, juice bars have started to make their cold-pressed presence known.

Brooklyn green juiceArtisanal bacon, kale salads, and culinary cocktails served by bearded bartenders may still rule Brooklyn's food scene, but in the past year, juice bars have started to make their cold-pressed presence known, too.

"It all comes down to making quality juice and healthy eating accessible to everyone," says Summers juice bar co-owner Christopher Taha. "Brooklyn is ready and eager." (That goes for the borough's boutique fitness renaissance, too.)

Like Summers, most of Brooklyn's juice bars are small-batch producers with outer-borough charm, and not the bigger brands like Organic Avenue and Juice Generation, which cover Manhattan.

Here, we break down Brooklyn's best places to get a (post-workout) green juice or smoothie right now...
