Get Healthy-Home Inspo From Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman’s Crafting-Competition TV Show
Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman (the actors behind those Pawnee, Indiana–based personas) aren't jumping back into their beloved roles, but they are joining forces to co-host and executive produce Making It, a new crafting-competition show. I mean, just *imagine* all the healthy-home inspo to come.
According to Refinery 29, Making It participants will hang out with the Parks and Rec duo as they complete two weekly craft-based challenges (à la Project Runway): a shorter one requiring contestants need to think fast, and a second trend-focused, "themed" challenge.
"I am in awe of anyone who can make beautiful things with their hands." —Amy Poehler.
While Poehler and Offerman will be hilariously guiding the episodes, Refinery 29 reports that Barneys creative ambassador Simon Doonan and Etsy trend expert Dayna Isom Johnson will be doing the actual judging, and Poehler is into that setup: "I am in awe of anyone who can make beautiful things with their hands," Poehler said. "Simon and Dayna are such experts in the makerspace, I am thrilled that they are judging and that Nick and I get to host and watch the process."
While there is no reported premiere date for the NBC show, just the notion of it should get your DIY creative juices flowing for your next hygge-home project.
