As time passes, it's super-common for priorities to shift—just take Bella Hadid for example. When the supermodel was first building her career, she was quite the night owl, she revealed in an interview with Harper's Bazaar. Hadid would spend many nights at industry parties networking, spending the wee hours surrounded by people. But now that she's hit her boss-babe stride, she's focused on one super-healthy necessity once the sun sets: getting her beauty sleep.

The model, who recently got real about her struggles with social anxiety, admitted that she's a total homebody and would rather spend the night on her couch than anywhere else. Now, once she's ready to wind down for the evening, a key part of her nightly routine is turning on tranquil tunes before hitting the sheets for some shut-eye.

"Before bed, I love listening to meditation music. It helps me zone out and fall asleep." —Bella Hadid

"Before bed, I love listening to meditation music. It helps me zone out and fall asleep," she says. Her go-to track of choice? A 50-song playlist that gives her nearly four hours of Zen sounds.

That's not all she does to reenergize her system, though: After Hadid wakes up from that super-peaceful slumber, she adheres to another rule for starting her day on a positive note: "In the morning, I make it a point to keep my phone away from me for 30 minutes so my brain can start functioning before I get completely overwhelmed by the media. Sometimes I just want to be me for 30 minutes, not 'Bella,'" she says. And since studies have shown that digital detoxing can actually make you happier, it's safe to say that Hadid is onto something with this daily practice.

If you also want to better your sleep quality, just follow Hadid's lead and let yourself drift off to meditative music. You might just wake up feeling relaxed and ready to tackle your to-do list.
