Attention, Pet Lovers: Dyson’s “Ball Animal” Vacuum is So Discounted It’s Basically Free

Pets have always been wonderful, but this year they've been something beyond that. TBH, I think I talked to my cats more than I did to any human being for a solid few months in early-to-mid 2020, and I don't know how I would be surviving the pandemic without them. With that said, I've also been trapped inside with their filth all year, and it is way worse than I ever noticed back when I had more frequent occasion to escape. The hair! How and why is there so much hair?!?

Despite this problem, I've resisted buying a real vacuum—which isn't doing me any favors—simply because I don't to spend my hard-earned monies on something so... vacuum-y. I might cave at long last, however, as Dyson's Ball Animal 2, a vacuum designed expressly for the purposes of cleaning up after your pet, is a crazy $200 off right now. (And also because I don't want to die alone, which is my current, cat-hair-covered path.)

This monster of a machine digs deep into carpets to extract not just all that hair but also the dirt your pets track in and along with the dust of unknown origin you're always drowning in. (Just me?)

The biggest sell for me on the Ball Animal, however, is that it doesn't have one of those brush bars for hair to wrap around—because those are a) annoying and b) revolting. And it can be used on any and all surfaces, including carpet, wood, vinyl, and tile. It's also versatile enough to attack any size space or area—which is good because that's what my cats do, too.

I mean, I'm not going to lie and say I'm so wildly excited to buy a vacuum, but if I have to do it, I could definitely do worse than this beaut. And at $200 off, it's honestly a bit of a no-brainer—though I'll have to discuss it with my cats first.
