You know those skin-care and beauty products that you use until the very last drop? The ones that you’ve spent entire brunches/text threads/email chains, telling your friends about? They’re the best of the best…so amazing that you’d never risk putting them in a piece of checked luggage. At Well+Good, we call those our Beauty VIPs (you know, Very Important Products). In this series, we ask women in wellness and the public eye what beauty products they use every single day and why—with an entire Internet of options to choose from—these items stand out.

Colleen McCann may very well have worked in the fashion industry for over 15 years, but she's not your typical fashion insider. The stylist turned energy healer started her professional journey helping women curate their closets, and now she's operating as a part-creative-part-energy healer, who guides women on their (well-dressed) spiritual journeys.

"Versatility is a key factor for any product that I bring into my life."

When I caught up with McCann on a break between cross-country flights, she gave me her list of go-to products that she (appropriately) takes with her everywhere.  One requirement any product needs to make into her bag? "Versatility is a key factor for any product that I bring into my life," she says. "I literally unpacked my suitcase, and this is my arsenal right here."

Unsurprisingly, McCann's lineup contains a mix of multi-tasking wonders and cult faves, with a dash of woo-woo for good measure. Get ready to take your beauty lineup to another high-vibe level with these picks.

Keep reading to find out what products Colleen McCann won't board on a plane without.

The Daily Hit

Cap Beauty "The Daily Hit," $96

"The girls that own Cap Beauty introduced me to this, and they said you can even make salad dressing with it or you can put it in your coffee—and I was like sold," she tells me. "I've been traveling, and I got invited to a dinner and we're like well let's put this in the balsamic. Or if I'm really tired and feeling out of it, I'll drop this into my Earl Grey."

Kiehls face oil

Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate, $72

"I really like to use oils on my face, and I'm on the plane a lot so I get dry skin. I also live part-time in Los Angeles—in the desert—so more dry skin," McCann says. "This has safflower oil in it and the smells so good. I put it on my face, but I also will take a few drops of it and put it in the bathtub. I like it because it can do double duty, and safflower oil can help with symptoms of PMS, it helps with sore muscles, and it helps to improve the immune system."

Sea Salt

Earth Tu Face Sea Salt Scrub, $44

"I talk a lot about spiritual hygiene, and salt helps us to get dense energy off our body and out of our auric field, and this one is my personal favorites. You can even use it as an alternative to sage or Palo Santo, because it's grounding and clearing," McCann tells me. "So after a day of travel I use this on my hands, my arms, the bottoms of my feet, across my chest or after a long day of meeting with clients, I might use this too."

Fragrance

Le Labo The Noir 29 Eau de Parfum, $180

"My original intention was to use this as a ‘date perfume’. I bought the scent in West Hollywood with a man on my arm and he said I smelled intoxicating. I loved it so much I started wearing it to all my key occasions like moon circles, public speaking engagements, parties, interviews, or on-set," McCann says. "People always inquired about what I was wearing, so it quickly became my signature scent from all the love it was getting. Plus, the size of the bottle is purse-friendly which is super important to my lifestyle as I’m always on the go."

Oralive

Ascended Health Charcoal Toothpaste, $40

"This stuff make my teeth feel amazing. Charcoal helps whiten your teeth," she says. "This is interesting because you brush with it, and I swish with it for up to 15 minutes in my mouth and then I swallow it because there are probiotics in it. Every time I use it, I feel like I went to the dentist."

Hair Story

New Wash Shampoo, $40

"My hairstylist introduced me to this. It comes out as more of a cream, it doesn't lather, it's all natural and it is a [two-in-one] shampoo and conditioner that actually works," she says. "It's one less bottle I have to carry, one less step I have to do in the shower. And I've gone up to like four days without washing my hair with this stuff."

If you're ready to take the high-vibe approach home, here's how to give your home an energy makeover. And, these crystals can give your workout a serious boost.
